Agreement to terms

By creating a HoofTrack account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use HoofTrack. These terms form a binding agreement between you and HoofTrack.

What HoofTrack is

HoofTrack is a business management platform for professional farriers. It provides scheduling, client management, visit summaries, invoicing, and related tools. Visit summaries are generated automatically and are intended as a professional communication tool — not as veterinary or medical advice.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use HoofTrack. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

Subscription and billing

• HoofTrack is a paid subscription service at $39, $89, or $149 per month depending on your plan
• All new accounts start with a 14-day free period — no card required to start
• If you add a card before the free period ends, you will not be charged until the free period expires
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time.
• A 1.5% platform fee applies to each invoice you send through HoofTrack
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By using invoicing features, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact raymond@gethooftrack.com

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use HoofTrack for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account with others or resell access to HoofTrack
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy HoofTrack’s systems
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Use the visit summary feature to generate misleading or fraudulent content

Your data and content

You own the data you enter into HoofTrack — client records, visit notes, photos, and summaries. By using HoofTrack, you grant us a limited license to store and process this data to provide the service. We do not sell your data.

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to store your clients’ personal information in HoofTrack and to send them automated communications through the platform.

Visit summaries

HoofTrack generates visit summaries from your voice memos automatically. These are tools to help you communicate with clients — not veterinary advice. You are responsible for reviewing summaries before they are sent and for the accuracy of the information they contain. HoofTrack is not liable for errors in generated content.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

Limitation of liability

HoofTrack is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before deletion, during which you may request an export.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll notify you via email for significant changes. Continued use of HoofTrack after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
