Who we are
HoofTrack is a software platform built for professional farriers. We operate at hooftrack.vercel.app. Questions? Email raymond@gethooftrack.com or text (951) 229-5178.
What information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account and use our services:
- Account information: your name, email address, and business name
- Client data you enter: horse owner names, contact information, and horse records
- Visit data: appointment notes, voice memos you record, hoof photos you upload, and visit summaries
- Payment information: processed through Stripe — we never store card numbers directly
- Usage data: how you interact with the app, collected via PostHog analytics
How we use your information
- To operate and deliver the HoofTrack service
- To generate visit summaries using Anthropic’s API — your voice memos are processed by Anthropic to create reports
- To send automated emails to your clients via Resend (visit summaries, reminders)
- To send SMS reminders to your clients via Twilio
- To process payments via Stripe Connect
- To improve and debug the service via Sentry error tracking
Third-party services
HoofTrack uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Anthropic— visit summary generation (your voice memos are sent to Anthropic’s API)
- Stripe— payment processing and invoicing
- Twilio— SMS delivery
- Resend— email delivery
- Supabase— database and authentication
- AWS S3— photo and file storage
- PostHog— product analytics
- Sentry— error monitoring
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share data with them as necessary to provide the HoofTrack service.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) and AWS S3 (file storage). We use HTTPS for all data transmission and Supabase Row Level Security to ensure farriers can only access their own data.
Your clients’ data
When you add horse owner and horse information to HoofTrack, you are responsible for having appropriate permission to store and process that information. You should inform your clients that their contact info and visit data is stored in HoofTrack and that they will receive automated emails and SMS messages through the platform.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we will delete your data within 30 days upon request. Contact us at raymond@gethooftrack.com to request deletion.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can manage your data within the app settings or contact us directly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We’ll notify you of significant changes via email to your registered address.
